ABOUT Dr. Raney

Aidan Raney is a board certified cardiologist with specialized training in interventional cardiology procedures. After graduating from UC Berkeley, Dr. Raney completed medical school at the George Washington School of Medicine. He finished internal medicine and general cardiology fellowship at UC Irvine. Dr. Raney then completed a two year fellowship in interventional cardiology with renowned physician Paul Teirstein.

At Scripps, Dr. Raney was active in multiple research trials including new generation Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), biodegradable stents, Watchman device (left atrial occlusion), and intracoronary radiation. Dr. Raney performed a high volume of cases including TAVR, complex coronary stenting, radial heart catheterization, and peripheral vascular stenting.
